Real Help for Families Who Own Companies
Our Story
With a name inspired by the bridge spanning the Cooper River in Charleston, iBridge connects the two sides of a family enterprise — the business, and the family that owns it.
The seed was planted 30 years ago, when I was thrown into the fire of a second-generation family business. I lived the tension between legacy and leadership, tradition and growth, family and business. Those early lessons weren’t theoretical — they were personal.
Over the years, I built and scaled two of my own family companies — one to a successful exit, the other into a lasting family-owned asset. I co-founded a $1B+ company and advised over 150 family enterprises. Along the way, I saw the same problem repeat: owners standing at the edge of the most important decision of their life, without a roadmap or anyone who’d actually done it.
In 2019, over coffee in Charleston, the name iBridge came to life. Inspired by the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, it’s the path we help families build — between where they are and where they’re trying to go. Strong. Clear. Built to hold weight.
iBridge isn’t just another advisory firm. It’s the one I wish existed when I was in the owner’s seat.
Why iBridge
Built From the Inside, Not the Outside: We’ve helped 150+ families add over $5B in profit and value — by working alongside the advisors already in their corner, not around them.
No Templates: Every family and every business is different. Every engagement is built from scratch, around the family in front of us.
Boutique Service, Deep Experience: This Five clients at a time, max. You work directly with the founder — supported by a small team, never handed off to one.
Built for What’s Next, Not Just for Now: We don’t just manage a transition. We build the business and the family to be ready for whichever one comes.
